OUR APPROACH
A transparent, respectful acquisition process designed for long-term success.
THE ACQUISITION PROCESS
Initial Conversation
We start with a confidential, no-pressure conversation. You tell us about your business, your goals, and your timeline. We explain how we work and assess whether there's mutual interest. This typically takes 30-60 minutes.
Information Exchange
If we both want to proceed, you'll share key business information under an NDA: financials, operations overview, customer base, and team structure. We review everything carefully and ask clarifying questions.
Letter of Intent (LOI)
If we see a strong fit, we present a Letter of Intent outlining our proposed purchase price, structure, and key terms. This is non-binding but shows our serious commitment. We're transparent about valuation methodology.
Due Diligence
We conduct thorough but efficient due diligence—financial, legal, operational, and commercial. We aim to complete this in 30-45 days. Our goal is verification, not renegotiation. We respect your time.
Closing & Transition
Once due diligence is complete, we finalize legal documents and close the transaction. We work with you to plan a smooth transition—whether you're staying involved or stepping away entirely.
AFTER CLOSING
How We Operate Businesses
Ownership changes, but we don't believe in dramatic upheaval. Our approach is thoughtful and methodical:
First 90 Days: Listen & Learn
We spend the first three months deeply understanding the business. We talk to team members, customers, and suppliers. We observe what's working and identify improvement opportunities.
Strategic Planning
Working with the management team, we develop a clear strategic plan focused on sustainable growth. This includes investment priorities, operational improvements, and market expansion opportunities.
Operational Excellence
We implement systems and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. This might include better financial reporting, CRM systems, hiring processes, or standard operating procedures.
Team Development
We invest in the team through training, clear career paths, and performance-based incentives. Great people drive great businesses, so we prioritize talent development.
Capital Deployment
We deploy capital strategically: upgrading technology, expanding capacity, entering new markets, or pursuing complementary acquisitions. Every investment must have clear ROI.
Continuous Improvement
We establish regular review cycles to track performance, celebrate wins, and course-correct when needed. Improvement is a continuous process, not a one-time event.
OUR COMMITMENT
Long-Term Value Creation
Everything we do is oriented toward long-term success. We're not trying to dress up businesses for a quick flip. We're building a portfolio of companies that will thrive for decades.
This means making investments that might take years to pay off. It means prioritizing customer satisfaction and employee retention over short-term cost cuts. It means building sustainable competitive advantages rather than chasing quarterly numbers.
Because we have no exit timeline, we can make decisions the way great founders do: with patience, discipline, and a focus on enduring value.
